Dual Channel 3G/HD/SD-SDI Electrical to Optical Converter (Lite)
Samim EOD-3220 is a converter that transforms 3G/HD/SD-SDI and ASI electrical signals into optical signals. This module enables the transmission of two digital video signals via fiber optic links. It features automatic detection of input signals, supports dual conversions on one board, and includes input signal re-clocking functionality.
Overview
Samim EOD-3220 is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI electrical signals to optical signals converter. The module can transmit two digital video signals over fiber optic links.
Samim electrical to optical converter performs automatic input signal detection, two conversions on a single board, and input signal re-clocking. Users can use different SFPs with various output powers and wavelengths related to the link length and receiver sensitivity. Two SDI outputs are also available as active loop to ease monitoring or distribution.
The web-based user interface is available for monitoring purposes. Also, LED indicators on the front edge of the module, inform the user about the operational status of the  module.
